Psychological therapy and CBT
When we are in a difficult time - be it an experience of depression, anxiety or difficult feelings such as helplessness, despair, and guilt - the most important thing is not to suffer alone. There are concrete ways to get support, change old patterns, connect to your strengths and feel security and peace. Cognitive therapy Cognitive therapy helps us identify our negative thought patterns that lead us to difficult feelings of fear, loneliness, self-blame and hopelessness. We learn to develop healthier thoughts and prevent the deterioration into depression and anxiety. Behavioral therapy In the behavioral therapy we work to implement positive habits on a daily basis that directly affect the physiology of the brain. This change accelerates improvement in feelings of depression and anxiety. Mindfulness-based therapy In mindfulness-based therapy we learn to listen to our body and breathing. We recognize the voices of self-criticism, judgment and need for control and we practice developing a voice of compassion and acceptance towards ourselves. Through meditation exercises we implement change even outside the treatment room. I have many years of experience working with people suffering from depression, anxiety and many emotional difficulties, and I see that the treatment constitutes a significant change in the lives of many patients. More than that - you don't have to suffer alone.
